Summary

Agenda Manager 7.1 no longer has its own menu in Microsoft Word 2007. By default, all third-party integrations appear under the new Add-Ins menu. However, by default, the Agenda Manager item may not appear under the Add-Ins menu.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in Laserfiche Agenda Manager 7.2. Please upgrade to the latest version of Agenda Manager.

If the Agenda Manager Word Add-in is installed, but there are no Agenda Manager items under the Add-Ins menu in Word 2007, you may need to manually rename the "Laserfiche Agenda Manager.dot" file to use the .dotm file extension. This template is located at "C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates." Renaming the extension should allow you to use the features of the Agenda Manager Word Add-in with Microsoft Word 2007.

While the features of the Agenda Manager 7.1 Add-in for Microsoft Word should function in Microsoft Word 2007, be aware of the following issues:

• Some Agenda Manager menu items are not properly disabled when they should be.
• Each time you load a new Word 2007 process, a disabled Agenda Manager item is appended to the Add-Ins menu. To clear out the disabled Agenda Manager items, delete "C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates\Laserfiche Agenda Manager.dot." Agenda Manager will automatically recreate this file if it does not exist.
