A "Could not copy 'Document_Name'. Permission denied. [7332]" Error Occurs When Copying Documents in a Logical Volume.

Summary

When you use Laserfiche client 7.2.1 to copy a document that is located in a logical volume, you may receive the following error message:

    Could not copy "Document_Name".
    Permission denied. [7332]

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for Laserfiche client 7.2.1. The fix is an updated version of LF.exe (version 7.2.1.410)

To update Laserfiche client 7.2.1

  1. Click the following link to download a zip file containing the hotfix.
    Hotfix_SCR28402_28407.zip
  2. Close any open instances of the Laserfiche client.
  3. Replace the existing version of LF.exe with the updated version included in the zip file. By default, LF.exe is located at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Client."
