- 1000993 Internet Explorer May Become Unresponsive After Adding a Highlight or Stamp. (21232)
- 1000991 Pop-up Blockers Can Prevent Web Access From Properly Functioning. (15311)
- When repositories are removed from the Web Access Administrator's Utility, the allowed/disallowed access list is not removed. When the repository configuration entries are shifted due to the removal of an entry, the access list for the entry that was removed now applies to the entry that has been shifted to its place in the listing. (28096)
- Installing Laserfiche Scanning 7.2.1 over your existing installation of Laserfiche Scanning 7.1.x will prevent you from scanning from within Laserfiche client 7.1.x. You will need to upgrade the client to Laserfiche client 7.2.x
- The ActiveX version of the thumbnail control allows you to drag images from Windows Explorer into the thumbnail control. However, this functionality is not supported when Web Access is configured to use a port other than the standard HTTP port. (27144)
- The Web Access installation automatically loads the Web Access Administration Utility the first time you reboot after installing Laserfiche Web Access. Windows will not finish starting up until after you close the utility. (27079)
- When you select multiple items in the folder browser and right-click on an item, the available items in the resulting context menu is based on the right-clicked item, not on all of the multiple selected items. (26938)
- Folder and document names that contain leading spaces are not displayed with the leading spaces in the folder browser. This is only a display issue. When you try to rename the item, you will see the correct name with the leading blank spaces. (26926)
- Web Access may take a long time to open a document associated with a template that contains a large list field. Internet Explorer may appear frozen until the loading process finishes. (26862)
- When you create a new document from an existing document via the thumbnail drag and drop method, the new document will be assigned the same template as the original document. However, field information will not be automatically transferred. (26836)
- You cannot manually add text to an electronic document that does not already have text pages associated with it. You must first use the "Extract Text" feature to create text pages before you can manually add text to an electronic document. (26804)
- The thumbnail display of the document window does not automatically scroll when you are dragging and dropping thumbnails. (26668)
- Laserfiche Web Access is not supported on the Arabic release of Windows 2000. (26666)
- Selected search types are preserved when switching between the search window and the folder browser window. However, any search criteria specified within a search type is not preserved when you switch back to the folder browser window. (26658)
- Having a large number of templates can significantly increase loading times for any web page that contains a listing of the available templates. (26656)
- The Extended Properties feature right only prevents a user from adding the "ID" column to their folder browser window or search window. If a user has previously customized the folder browser window or search window to display the "ID" column, they will still be able to view the "ID" column after they are denied the Extended Properties feature right. (26533)
- Web Access does not support IIS 6.0 being configured as a web garden with more than one worker process. If IIS has such a configuration, you will be unable to log in. (26527)
- If ASP file caching is enabled, Web Access may be unable to display Arabic characters after an error occurs between Web Access and Internet Explorer. To prevent this issue, configure your Web Access virtual directory and disable ASP file caching. (26394)
- Web Access does not support extracting text from .msg files through an IFilter. (26091)
- When you use Web Access Snapshot to print a Microsoft Excel file, it will only print the first worksheet. (25852)
- Web Access Snapshot does not correctly use the default printer settings when printing a Microsoft Excel file. Instead, it uses the paper and resolution settings of the Excel file. (25851)
- The pop-up blocker included with Google Toolbar can interfere with the standard operation of Web Access. You should not use Google Toolbar with Web Access. (25846)
- Clicking the Check Out button on the Check Out Document dialog box loads a File Download dialog box. The selected electronic document is still considered checked out even if you cancel out of the File Download dialog box. (25656)
- Copying and pasting a document will fail silently if the user does not have sufficient volume access rights. For example, the copy & paste action will fail silently if the user has not been granted the Create Documents volume access right to the appropriate volume. (25622)
- Web Access cannot set the MIME type for an electronic document if the native application associated with that file type is not installed on the computer hosting Web Access. (25505)
- Web Access may display annotations in the wrong locations on documents with images that have mismatching X and Y resolutions. (23513)
- When creating or importing a new document and selecting a template for the new document, default field values are not displayed in the dialog box. (22683)
- In the Laserfiche Web Products Administrator's Utility, when you remove a repository, all higher dbids are shifted down one accordingly. (13333)
- Any type of image file may be selected for use as a stamp. However, only monochrome bitmap image files (.bmp) can be used as stamps. All other images will generate an error when
attempting to stamp a page. (6873)
- The Folder Browser is not actively being refreshed. In other words, the user will need to successfully perform an action from within the Folder Browser, in order to see the most
current
information (i.e. current listing of folder contents or field data). (5639)
- Once an error code has been configured, the Web Products Administrator's Utility will only allow the administrator to modify the message associated with the error code. The error
code
itself cannot be modified. If you would like to reassign a message to a different error code, then you will need to copy the message from the original error code, create the new error
code, and then paste the description into it. If the old error code is no longer needed, then you may delete it. (7202)
