Summary

When installing the Laserfiche Firewall Compatibility Component, you may receive the following error message:

Internal Error 2908

If you run the installation with verbose logging enabled, the Windows Installer log file may also contain an entry involving error 1935.

Cause

This error occurs when Windows Installer is unable to correctly install files to the Global Assembly Cache (GAC).

Resolution
