Summary

When you are printing a document from a third-party application to your Snapshot printer, Snapshot generates the necessary temporary files in your temporary directory. However, it does not successfully import the files into your Laserfiche repository.

Workaround

When using Snapshot to generate images from within the Laserfiche client, Snapshot creates a temporary .edm file. This temporary file is only needed when using Snapshot from within the Laserfiche Client. However, in certain situations, Snapshot may incorrectly generate a .edm file when you print to your Snapshot printer from a third-party application and prevent the generated image and text files from being imported into a Laserfiche repository.

As a workaround, if you encounter this issue when printing from a third-party application, first Snapshot a document from the Laserfiche client. Then re-print the desired file from your third-party application.
