Summary

When you start Laserfiche Scanning, you may receive the following error message:

Failed to create display control

Cause

The LFDisplay.ocx control is not properly registered.

Resolution

Manually register LFDisplay.ocx.

To register LFDisplay.ocx

1. Click Start and then click Run.
2. Type the following and then click OK to register LFDisplay.ocx:

   regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\Controls\LFDisplay.ocx"
