New features for version 7.0.5
- You can now configure whether you want to always open electronic documents using the standard WebLink document window or the Windows application associated with that type of electronic document. This option is available from the My WebLink page. (26869)
- You can now configure whether you want to always display images in high quality (grayscale) or low quality (black & white).
- Hyperlinks located in a sticky note are now clickable and will load a new web browser window. (27223)
- You can now rotate a document counter-clockwise in addition to being able to rotate a document clockwise. (27121)
- You can now directly edit entries in the Laserfiche WebLink 7 Administrator's Utility without loading a separate dialog box. (23539)
- WebLink now allows you to specify an export audit reason when exporting a document as a PDF file. (20374, 27287)
- You can now right-click a document and copy the URL to that document. (26516)
- WebLink now allows users to open shortcuts to folders that they would otherwise not be able to browse to. (23507)
- Users can now change their passwords through WebLink. If you specified a user name and password to log in to a repository, the My WebLink page will include an option that allows you to change your password. (15576)
- You can now configure whether you want annotations to be included in your exported PDFs. (2953)
Changes for version 7.0.5
- The WebLink 7.0.5 installation now automatically installs the client component portion of the Firewall Compatibility Component. (27265)
- By default, WebLink now displays images in high quality (grayscale) instead of low quality (black & white). (27185)
- WebLink no longer opens a document at 32% zoom. By default, WebLink now opens up documents to the width of the document window's toolbar. (27173)
- The Object Name search category has been renamed to the Document/Folder Name search category. The functionality is unchanged.
Fixes for version 7.0.5
- Users without the Export feature right will no longer be able to export a document as a PDF file. (27431)
- DBIDs set through the WebLink 7 Administrator's Utility are now static. This means that when you delete a repository configuration, the DBIDs that came after the deleted entry are no longer automatically shifted up by one. (26814)
- You no longer need to manually uninstall your existing version of WebLink prior to running the WebLink 7.0.5 installation. (23718)
