Summary

When you try to log in to a standalone repository, you may receive the following error message:

Open/create link failed [7816]

Cause

Another user is already logged in to the standalone repository that you are trying to access. Standalone repositories are limited to only one user at a time. This means that if a standalone edition of Laserfiche is being run on a terminal server and multiple users have registered the same repository, only one user will be able to access that repository at any given time.
