Summary

When scanning through Laserfiche Scanning, you may receive the following error message:

Could not establish connection.
Reason: The parameter is incorrect

Cause

The ole32.dll file is not properly registered.

Resolution

Reregister ole32.dll, which is located in C:\WINDOWS\system32.

To register ole32.dll

1. Click Start and then click Run.
2. In the Run dialog box, type the following and then click OK to register ole32.dll:

   regsvr32 "C:\Windows\system32\ole32.dll"
