Summary

In Laserfiche Scanning, when you select a Hijri date field and then click away from the field without first specifying a valid date, you may receive a "Type mismatch" script error similar to the following error message:

There is a hotfix available for the Arabic release of Laserfiche Scanning 7.1.2 and the English release of Laserfiche Scanning 7.2. The fix for the Arabic release of Laserfiche Scanning 7.1.2 includes the following updated files:

• Document.vbs
• Document_bottom.htm

The fix for the English release of Laserfiche Scanning 7.2 includes the following updated files:

• Document.vbs
• Document_bottom.htm
• DocumentStandard_bottom.htm

To update Laserfiche Scanning

1. Close any open instances of Laserfiche Scanning.
2. Click one of the following links to download a zip file containing the hotfix for your version of Laserfiche Scanning.
   Hotfix_SCR26697_Arabic_712.zip
   Hotfix_SCR26697_English_72.zip
3. Extract the contents of the zip file into the HTML subfolder of your Laserfiche Scanning installation folder. By default, Laserfiche Scanning is installed at "C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Laserfiche Scanning."
