Summary

Laserfiche client 7.2 does not correctly print out white redactions or dark color highlights. White redactions print out as gray areas instead of as blank white areas. Dark color highlights can obscure the underlying image or text.

Resolution 1

This issue is resolved in Laserfiche client 7.2.1. Please upgrade to the latest version of the Laserfiche client.

Resolution 2

There is a hotfix available for Laserfiche client 7.2. The fix is an updated version of LFImage72.ocx (version 7.2.0.2).

To update Laserfiche client 7.2

1. Close all open instances of the Laserfiche client.
2. Click the following link to download a zip file containing the updated version of LFImage72.ocx (version 7.2.0.2).
   Hotfix_SCR26689_26274.zip
3. Replace the existing version of LFImage72.ocx located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\Controls with the updated version included in the zip file.
4. Register the new version.
   • Click Start and then click Run.
   • In the Run dialog box, type the following and then click OK to register the file.

     regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\Controls\LFImage72.ocx"
