Summary

In the Arabic 7.1.2 release of the client, the right-to-left (RTL) interface has issues displaying the drop-down list of template names in the Field search pane. The drop-down list jumps to the left side of the panel and becomes only partially visible.

Cause

This issue occurs when configuring a field search and you toggle the drop-down list to and from "No template assigned" to another template.

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for the Arabic version of the Laserfiche client 7.1.2. The fix includes updated versions of two files:

• SearchMainPanel_ARA.htm
• LFSearch_ARA.css

To update the Arabic version of the Laserfiche client 7.1.2

1. Close any instances of the Laserfiche client.
2. Click the following link to download a zip file containing the two files (SearchMainPanel_ARA.htm and LFSearch_ARA.css).
   Hotfix_SCR26649.zip
3. Replace the existing versions of SearchMainPanel_ARA.htm and LFSearch_ARA.css located in your Client installation directory. By default, the Laserfiche client is installed at C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Client.
