Summary

When importing documents using Snapshot, you may receive one of the following error messages:

An error has occurred in the function "do_zones": -1. (6000)

Failed to OCR the current image. (106)

Cause

These errors can occur if the OCR engine receives multiple simultaneous requests. If Snapshot sends another document to be OCRed while the previous document is still being OCRed, you will receive these errors.

Workaround

Make sure that the current Snapshot print job is complete before starting the next print job or configure Snapshot to retrieve text directly from the print job instead of OCRing the images.

To configure Snapshot retrieve text from the print job

1. Load the Laserfiche Snapshot Configuration (Current User) or Laserfiche Snapshot Configuration (Shared Printer) dialog box.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Under the Text Generation section, select the Obtain text from the print job option.
4. Click OK to save your change and close the configuration dialog box.
