Summary

When you have the folder browser window configured to display the Pages column and you browse to a folder that contains a document with a large number of pages, you may receive the following error message:

    7050 error executing SQL command

Cause

For large documents, the DBMS is timing out the request before the query finishes.

Workaround

Increase the query timeout limit.

To increase the query timeout using SQL Server Enterprise Manager

  1. Load SQL Server Enterprise Manager.
  2. Expand the tree and select your SQL Server instance.
  3. From the Action menu, click Properties.
  4. Click the Connections tab.
  5. Next to the Query time-out (sec, 0 = unlimited) option, specify the desired timeout.
