To update Quick Fields 7.1

  1. Click the following link to download a zip file containing the updated files.
    Arabic_QF71_Patch.zip
  2. Extract the contents of the zip file to a temporary location.
  3. Browse to the location where you extracted the files and double-click QF71Arabic.bat. This batch file copies the files from the temporary location to the appropriate installation paths, registers the new files, and creates a new registry value. Be aware that the batch file assumes that Quick Fields is installed at C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Quick Fields.
  4. Click Yes when prompted about adding the ShowHijriToken string to the registry.

More Information

Quick Fields will now support Hijri Dates and includes the Hijri Date tokens. The Real-Time Lookup add-on will convert any data entered into a date field to Hijri date format if your machine is set to the Hijri Date locale.
