Summary

The Snapshot Configuration Utility is unable to display Arabic characters.

Resolution

There is a hotfix available for Snapshot 7.0.2. The fix is an updated version of LaserficheServerObjects.dll (version 7.0.0.403).

To update Snapshot 7.0.2

1. Click the following link to download a zip file containing the update files.
   Arabic_Snapshot702_Patch.zip
2. Extract the contents of the zip file to a temporary location.
3. Browse to the location where you extracted the zip file and double-click Snapshot.bat. This batch file will automatically copy LaserficheServerObjects.dll to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\LFObjects and register the file.

More Information

This fix allows a computer with Snapshot to have English as the default option under Standards and Formats and still display Arabic characters correctly. The computers running Snapshot will still require Arabic to be set as the default option under Language for non-Unicode programs.
