When Import Agent is importing files, you may receive the following error message in the Event Viewer:
There was an error executing the profile YourProfile while importing the file "YourFile". (Object reference not set to an instance of an object.)
This issue is resolved in Import Agent 7.0.2. Please upgrade to the latest version of Laserfiche Import Agent.
There is a hotfix available for Import Agent 7.0.1. The fix includes updated versions of three files:
- ImportAgentConfig.exe (version 7.0.1.28020)
- ImportAgentLibrary.dll (version 7.0.1.28020)
- ImportAgentService.exe (version 7.0.1.28020)
To update Import Agent 7.0.1
- Stop the Import Agent 7 service.
- Click Start and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Administrative Tools.
- Double-click Services.
- Scroll down and select Laserfiche Import Agent 7.
- From the Action menu, select All Tasks, and click Stop.
- Click the following link to download a zip file containing the hotfix files

- Replace the existing versions located in the Import Agent 7 installation folder with the ones included in the zip file. By default, Import Agent 7 is installed at C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Import Agent 7.
- Restart the Import Agent 7 service.
- Click Start and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Administrative Tools.
- Double-click Services.
- Scroll down and select Laserfiche Import Agent 7.
- From the Action menu, select All Tasks, and click Start.
