New Features on the Laserfiche Support Site

Summary

The following list provides a brief introduction to the new features that have been added to the Laserfiche Support Site.

  • The Support Site navigation has been revamped to allow for navigation by product, by version or by type of resource.
  • Full Support Site site search has been implemented. The search itself has also been enhanced to return more relevant results.
  • The Educational Resources page allows product-based and category-based filtering.
  • DevNotes provides a collection of informal product notes written by members of the Laserfiche development team to supplement the more official Knowledge Base articles and whitepapers.
  • Automated Support case tracking and submission gives VARs the ability to keep tabs on their support cases and leave notes on case progress for the support engineers with which they are working. The support case tracking interface has been enhanced to make it more streamlined and efficient.
  • Case tracking now features file upload and download, which gives VARs the ability to upload files for Support to use to assist with troubleshooting, and to download files provided by Support.
  • The Laserfiche Support and VAR Forums have been merged into one Forum, with updated forum software.
  • The ability to provide content depending on LSAP allows Laserfiche to provide files and proprietary information to qualified users.
