Snapshot 7

Summary

Laserfiche Snapshot makes use of registry values created by the Laserfiche client in order to display the list of available Laserfiche repositories. If a copy of the Laserfiche client is not installed on the same computer, you must manually edit the registry in order for Snapshot to know what repository to connect to.

Resolution

Manually Edit the Server and Database string values under the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Laserfiche\Snapshot\Profile registry key.

Warning: Incorrectly editing the registry may adversely affect your system. Before you edit the registry, make sure you understand how to restore it if a problem occurs

To add your repository's login information to the registry

  1. Click Start and then click Run.
  2. In the Run dialog box, type the following and then click OK to load the Windows Registry Editor.
