This article documents how to change a repository path. The repository path is the path that contains the SEARCH subfolder, which in turn contains the index files for your repository.

Use the Laserfiche Administration Console to first unregister your repository. Then move the repository folder to the new desired location. Finally, reregister your repository and specify the new location when prompted for the repository path.

To unregister a repository

1. Load the Laserfiche Administration Console.
2. Expand your Laserfiche server node.
3. Expand the Repositories item.
4. Select the repository you wish to unregister.
5. From the Action menu, point to All Tasks, and click Unregister Repository. You may be prompted for the System Manager password.

To register a repository

1. Load the Laserfiche Administration Console.
2. Expand your Laserfiche server node.
3. Select the Repositories item.
4. From the Action menu, point to All Tasks and click Register Repository.
5. Proceed through the steps of the Repository Registration Wizard to register your repository.
