Summary

A Token Collector process will only correctly save data if its assigned process runs on the first page of a document.

Resolution 1

This issue is resolved in Quick Fields 7.1.2 and later. Please upgrade to the latest version of Laserfiche Quick Fields.

Resolution 2

There is a hotfix available for Quick Fields 7.1.1. The fix is an updated version of Tokenizer.vbs. (last modified on July 05, 2005).

To update Quick Fields 7.1.1

  1. Close any open instances of Quick Fields.
  2. Click the following link to download a zip file containing an updated version of Tokenizer.vbs.
    Hotfix_SCR21593.zip
  3. Replace the existing version of Tokenizer.vbs located in the HTML subfolder of the Quick Fields installation folder with the version included in the zip file. By default, the location is C:\Program Files\Laserfiche\Quick Fields\HTML.
  4. Optional: The above steps will fix any new Token Collector processes that are created. If you do not wish to recreate your existing Token Collector processes, load your Quick Fields session and simply click each of your existing Token Collector processes to reload the process using the updated file.
