Summary

When applying a linked text highlight or linked text redaction, you may receive the following error message:

Error determining word locations. Error executing SQL command [7050]

Cause

This error can occur when an expansion database is not correctly attached, or when it has been attached under an incorrect name. Expansion databases are created, when using Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Edition (MSDE) and Microsoft SQL Server: Personal Edition (MSSQL:PE) installations, to store word location information. Word location information is used to associate a text highlight or redaction with the correct place on the image. If an expansion database is not attached, or is attached under a different name, Laserfiche will be unable to access word location information.

Resolution
