Summary

Certain SQL tables are not migrated from Laserfiche 6 to Laserfiche 7. This article lists the tables that are not migrated, and the reasons that they are not migrated.

The Laserfiche 6 to 7 Migration wizard does not migrate the following SQL tables:

AuditedEntries
AuditedEntryNames
AuditedUsers
AuditEvents
AuditReasons 		The audit architecture changed significantly between Laserfiche 6 and Laserfiche 7. This means that Audit Trail 7 cannot read Audit Trail 6 information and Audit Trail 6 cannot connect to Laserfiche Server 7. These tables would not be usable after migration.
LFT This table contains thumbnail data. Since thumbnail data is automatically generated as needed by Laserfiche 7, the Laserfiche 6 to 7 Migration wizard was changed in version 7.1.x to no longer automatically migrate this table. However, the Laserfiche 6 to 7 Migration wizard (version 7.1.x) allows you to choose to migrate this table during the migration:
  1. Proceed through the Laserfiche 6 to 7 Migration wizard (version 7.1) until you reach the Migration Parameters Display step.
  2. Click Advanced.
  3. Select the Ignore recommendation and migrate thumbnail data option.

Note: Migrating the thumbnail data can add significant time to the migration process.

WorkTOC This table is a duplicate of the TOC table and is used only by Workflow Suite. It is recreated as needed in the version 7 database and does not need to be explicitly migrated by the migration wizard.
