Summary

At times, it may be necessary to find the LF.INI file to perform a special type of configuration. This file can always be found in the x:\Windows or x:\WinNt directory. However, another version of this file may exist in another location. Please refer to the following list to find your LF.INI:

• Windows 95/98/ME: Only one version of the LF.INI file exists. It can be found in the x:\Windows directory.
• Windows NT: The LF.INI file can be found in the x:\WinNt directory and in the following path under the WinNT directory: Profiles\Current_User\Application Data\LF.
• Windows 2000/XP/2003: The LF.INI file can be found in the Windows directory and in the following path under the Document and Settings folder: Current_User\Application Data\LF.

Note: The letter x stands for the drive letter on which the system files were installed.

Note: Typing in LF.ini at the Windows Run dialog box brings up the LF.ini stored in the C:\Windows folder.
