Summary

If the name of a password protected user has been modified, the user will not be allowed to log into the database.

Workaround

Whenever a user name is modified, it is necessary to reassign the password for the affected user. Otherwise, the user will not be allowed to log into the database. A user's password can be modified by a LaserFiche supervisor by following these steps:

  1. Choose User Manager from the Security menu (ALT+S, U).
  2. From the Users list, select the user or supervisor whose password will be changed.
  3. Click Password to open the Set Password dialog box.
  4. Enter the new password in both the Password and Verify Password boxes.
  5. Click OK.
