Summary

Uninstalling the LaserFiche Standalone product or LaserFiche Server (Group\M Group) will not remove the instance of MSDE created by the LaserFiche installation.

If you would like to remove the instance of MSDE ("Microsoft SQL Desktop Engine (LaserFiche)") after uninstalling LaserFiche, you should remove it from Add or Remove Programs (which can be found in the Control Panel). Uninstalling MSDE will remove the association of any existing databases with MSDE. If, after uninstalling MSDE, you plan to reinstall LaserFiche on the same computer and would like to use the same databases, then you will need to reattach your databases using the LaserFiche Administration Console.
