Summary

LaserFiche security dictates that objects inherit security (access rights) from a parent folder. In other words, if a user\group has been specifically assigned the Browse access right to a folder, then the user\group will also have the Browse right to the folder contents (documents, electronic documents, batches, and subfolders). However, the contents of the root folder do not automatically inherit access rights from the root folder. The contents of the root folder will only inherit security for users\groups that have been specifically assigned access rights to the root folder.
