Summary

Versions of Laserfiche Server (Team) prior to 7.2 and all versions of Laserfiche Standalone are not compatible with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition.

Resolution

Laserfiche Server - Team 7.2 is now compatible with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. However, standalone editions of the Laserfiche 7 client are still not compatible with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition.

Laserfiche Server - Team and Standalone editions of the Laserfiche client include checks that verify your version of Microsoft SQL Server. Prior to version 7.2, this verification check would not recognize Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. In Laserfiche 7.2 (Team), this verification check has been modified to correctly recognize Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express.

Note: This incompatibility does not affect Laserfiche Server (United).
