Summary

Laserfiche Integration Express 6 is dependent on LFSOCK.dll (version 7.0.0.1). Without it, Integration Express 6 will not be able to see the existence of a Laserfiche Server. This file is installed by Laserfiche client 6, but is no longer installed by Laserfiche client 7.

Integration Express 6 utilizes a legacy protocol for communicating with Laserfiche. While Laserfiche 7 still supports the protocol, Laserfiche client 7 no longer uses it and thus does not install LFSOCK.dll. Integration Express 6 will not be able to communicate with Laserfiche 7 if it cannot locate LFSOCK.dll. Obtain and place a copy of LFSOCK.dll on the computer where Integration Express 6 is installed.

To use Integration Express 6 with Laserfiche 7

1. Close any running instances of Integration Express.
2. Click the following link to download a zip file containing LFSOCK.dll (version 7.0.0.1).

3. Extract the contents of the zip file to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\System.
