Summary

The Snapshot 7.0.2 Installation installs Iris32.lfo to the root of the drive instead of the Snapshot installation folder. This does not affect the normal operation of Snapshot 7.0.2. However, if you delete or move the file, the next time you try to use Snapshot, you will be prompted to insert the Snapshot 7.0.2 installation CD.

Resolution

The Snapshot 7.0.2 installation has been modified to correctly install Iris32.lfo to the Snapshot installation folder. Copies of Snapshot 7.0.2 downloaded from the Download Center after November 16th, 2005 and Snapshot 7.0.2 CDs shipped after November 16th, 2005 include the updated version of the installation.

You can check to see what version of the Snapshot 7.0.2 installation you have.

To check the version number of the Snapshot installation

1. Locate the following file on the Snapshot installation CD.

   Laserfiche Snapshot 7.0.2.msi

2. Right-click the file and select Properties from the context menu.
3. In the Laserfiche Snapshot 7.0.2.msi Properties dialog box, click the Summary tab.
4. Take note of the value in the Subject field. It will be one of the following:
   • Laserfiche Snapshot 7: The value in the original release of Snapshot 7.0.2.
   • Laserfiche Snapshot 7.0.2.22: The value in the fixed version of Snapshot 7.0.2.
