New features for version 7.0.4
- 1001073 WebLink Does Not Remember the DBID of the Repository You Were Last Logged In To. (21331)
- 1011043 Customizing Template Search Display Options in WebLink 7.
- 1011042 Selected Thumbnails Are Not Highlighted in WebLink 7.
- The Laserfiche WebLink 7 Administrator's Utility now checks that WebLink has a valid virtual directory specified in IIS. In addition, it will also check that the necessary ASP.NET
mappings are in place for IIS. (22761)
- You can now download an electronic document without having to load the document view window There is now an additional icon located next to the electronic document icon in the folder
browser window. Click the new Download electronic file icon to download the electronic document directly from the folder browser window. (8052)
- The document view window can now display thumbnails for text documents. (2942)
Changes for version 7.0.4
- There is now a more comprehensive WebHelp system. (23624)
- The Laserfiche WebLink 7 Administrator's Utility has been rewritten using a .NET language.
Fixes for version 7.0.4
- WebLink did not fully support specifying advanced search syntax through a URL. You can now specify advanced search syntax through the searchcommand query. (23644)
- Display issues could occur on monitors configured with a high DPI setting. This is now resolved and WebLink will now correctly render on monitors with a high DPI setting. (23630)
- Several toolbar buttons did not render correctly when using Safari 2.0.1. This issue is now resolved and WebLink will display correctly on Safari 2.0.1. (23621)
- The Internet Explorer pop-up blocker included in Windows XP Service Pack 2 could prevent users from generating and downloading a PDF of a document. Setting the pop-up blocker to
"medium" no longer prevents users from generating and downloading PDFs of documents. (23170)
- WebLink always defaulted to dbid=0 when using a URL that links to a particular document or when specifying search parameters through a URL. WebLink now allows you to specify a specify
dbid when constructing a URL to a specific .aspx page. (22225)
