Client | If you have a Microsoft Office program installed, but have never started the program, you may encounter a configuration issue when you start the Laserfiche Client. You will be prompted for the Microsoft Office CD or given an error 1706. As a workaround, simply start any Microsoft Office program. Client | When sending e-mail from Outlook to Laserfiche, Laserfiche may not recognize that an e-mail contains an attachment. As a result, the Import Outlook Message dialog box may not list the e-mail's attachment(s). This prevents you from separating the attachment from the e-mail message. Importing the e-mail message will always include attachments along with the message. (14299) |
Client | Microsoft Outlook 2002 may display a "Virus attack" message each time Office Integration is used with Outlook. This is the default Outlook behavior when a menu item is added to Outlook 2002. This is not a security issue involving a virus. (11762) |

Laserfiche Repository Upgrade Utility | If you unregistered a network repository hosted by Laserfiche Server (Team) prior to upgrading the Laserfiche Server, the associated databases will be detached from MSDE. The Insert option of the Laserfiche Repository Upgrade utility will not attach any detached MSDE databases to MSDE. You will need to manually attach these database to MSDE prior to upgrading the repository through the Laserfiche Repository Upgrade utility. (20668) |
Laserfiche Repository Upgrade Utility | Data in the AuditSeries SQL table will not be kept when upgrading from Laserfiche 7.0.x to Laserfiche 7.1. If you wish to retain the data stored in this table, make sure to archive the your audit logs before upgrading to Laserfiche 7.1. In this configuration, the scanner scans one page a a time and the paper does not fully come out of the scanner. As a workaround, switch the scanner to auto instead of the feeder. (23571) |
Laserfiche Scanning | The Stop button in Laserfiche Scanning does not function when scanning from a Canon 7080 set to use "Panel Feeding." You should use the Stop button located on the scanner. (20753) |

Server | A search cannot be cancelled. Please note that this is a server-side issue. You can cancel a search from within the Laserfiche client. Cancelling a search will cause the client to stop waiting for a complete list of search results and it will return the client to a usable state.
