Temporary Database Tables Persist After Volume Attachment.

March 12, 2004 | KB: 100107
Laserfiche 6, Plus 6

Summary

Attaching a volume will create temporary database tables that will not be deleted after the volume has been attached to the database. Although these database tables have no adverse effects, they will take up space on the SQL Server (network) or the workstation running MSDE (standalone).

Resolution

Install LaserFiche Client, Desktop, Executive, Intuition, MinuteFile, Notebook, Personal Edition, or Plus version 6.04 or higher.

Network Installations: Install LaserFiche Server version 6.04 or higher.

More Information

The temporary tables may be safely dropped. The naming convention for the temporary tables is LF followed by a string of letters and numbers.

Important: When dropping tables, make sure that you do not drop the LFT table. The LFT table is not temporary and should not be dropped.
