Summary

Attaching a volume that was exported or detached without preserving the folder structure will prevent all documents that were not originally located in the root folder from being created.

Resolution

Install LaserFiche Client, Desktop, Executive, Intuition, MinuteFile, Notebook, Personal Edition, or Plus version 6.04 or higher.

Network Installations: Install LaserFiche Server version 6.04 or higher.

Note: If you do not wish to upgrade LaserFiche, then you should refer to the workaround.

More Information

If you suspect that you may have lost documents due to this issue, then you should try to reattach the volume using the latest version of LaserFiche.

Workaround

This issue may be avoided by exporting or detaching the volume with the Only needed or All option selected under Folders.
