Summary

Attaching a volume with the Merge folder structures option cleared allows a folder with the same name to be created in the database.

Resolution

Install LaserFiche Client, Desktop, Executive, Intuition, MinuteFile, Notebook, Personal Edition, or Plus version 6.03 or higher.

Network Installations: Install LaserFiche Server version 6.03 or higher.

More Information

This type of situation will now be handled by appending (2) to a new folder with the same name. For example, if the folder name in question is named "Sample", then a new folder will be created called "Sample (2)."
