Fixes for Version 7.1

Product Fixes
Laserfiche 6 to 7 Migration wizard When migrating a large database, the Laserfiche 6 to 7 Migration wizard could slow down significantly or become unstable if it ran out of virtual memory. Large amounts of virtual memory were required because it used a single-pass approach when migrating tables. This could potentially cause issues on large tables. It now uses a multi-pass approach for the Loc, Stamp, Ann, and Wof tables. (20180)
Laserfiche Administration Console 1000664 The Laserfiche Administration Console Cannot Select Multiple Items on Computers using Windows 2000. (14755, 18804)
Laserfiche Administration Console An invalid pointer (-2147467261) error could occur in the Laserfiche Administration Console if you right-clicked on Index and selected Properties without first clicking on the Index node. This error no longer occurs. (17669)
Client 1000895 Items in the Contents Pane May Not Be Visible When Using a Black Background. (19028)

Client An error would occur when the Folder Browser was set up to display a field that had already been deleted. The Client no longer displays the error and just leaves that column blank. (20316)
Client Pressing the Q key in the Folders pane would not take you to the first item with a name that starts with Q. Instead, it would allow you to edit the name of the currently selected item in the Folders pane. This issue is now resolved and pressing the Q key will take you to the first item with a name that starts with Q. (19798)
Client

Opening a folder in a second browser window would prevent you from deleting that folder even if you closed the second browser window. You would be unable to delete the folder until you logged out and relogged back in. Opening a folder in a new browser window no longer prevents you from deleting the folder. (19234)

Client Custom searches did not save correctly. (18948)
Client If you made changes to both a page and field data in a multi-page document, your field data changes would not be saved upon viewing another page in that document. Page modifications and field data changes are now both saved when you choose to view another page in a multi-page document. (18738)
Client There were missing options in the Zoom setting in the View Document Options dialog box. The Zoom setting now correctly includes the following options: Fit Height, Fit Window, 200%, and 400%. (18351)
Client The Send to Laserfiche feature would not allow you to send documents to Laserfiche without a specified template. You would receive an error 6000 if you attempted to send a document without specifying a template. You can now send a document without specifying a template. (17680)
Client Default field values would not be displayed when creating Laserfiche documents using the Send to Laserfiche feature. Default field values are now filled in when using the Send to Laserfiche feature. (15874)
Client The Folder Browser window would not display the creation/modification time for documents or folders created at 12:00:00 A.M. The Creation Date/Modification Date columns would display the time portion for affected documents and folders as blank. This issue is now resolved. (14097)

Laserfiche Scanning 1000860 Deleting a Scanned Page Removes the Incorrect Page. (18379)
Laserfiche Scanning When using Laserfiche Scanning, scanned documents that were processed by OCR would not be automatically added to the indexing queue if the current user inherited the Process feature right from a Laserfiche group. This issue is now resolved and the scanned documents are properly added to the indexing queue. (19301)
Laserfiche Scanning A page removal process for blank pages could prevent you from rescanning. (18709)

Server The results of a full-text search could include documents to which a user did not have sufficient volume access rights. It would also display a context line for those search results. This issue is now resolved. The results of a full-text search for users that do not have sufficient volume access rights will no longer include documents stored on secured volumes. (20434)
Server Briefcase import errors were not being reported. The Laserfiche Server now properly returns an error if a briefcase fails to import. (20391)

Server When attaching a volume from Laserfiche 4 to Laserfiche 7, date field values were not imported into the Laserfiche 7 repository. Date field values are now properly imported under these circumstances. (19770)
Server When migrating documents into a logical volume, only half of the specified maximum size would be used in a physical volume before a new one would be created. Physical volumes created when migrating documents now correctly use the specified size limit. (19711)
Server Briefcase export errors were not being reported. The Laserfiche Server now properly returns an error if a briefcase fails to export. (19627)
Server If you used the Send to Laserfiche option from within Microsoft Outlook to send an e-mail with a multi-page TIFF attachment, only the first page would be created. This issue is now resolved and all the pages of the multi-page TIFF are successfully created. (19568)
Server Importing a briefcase or volume into a repository that uses MSDE would import location data into the main database instead of an expansion database. Importing into a repository using MSDE now correctly uses the expansion databases. (17890, 20138)
