More Information

Laserfiche Server Known Issues

  • 1000814 Laserfiche 7.0.2 and 7.0.3 Do Not Display Laserfiche 7.0 or 7.0.1 Repositories. (17703)
  • Importing a briefcase or volume into a repository that uses MSDE will import location data into the main database instead of an expansion database. (17890, 20138)
  • When using a terminal server, Laserfiche Snapshot 7.0 and earlier, Quick Fields 7.1 and earlier, Laserfiche Scanning, Import Agent 6, and Laserfiche Client 6 will not share with the Laserfiche Client 7 a connection to the Laserfiche Server. (17446)
  • A search cannot be cancelled. (13655)
  • The Laserfiche Server service will not shut down if any process (i.e. Laserfiche Client, Web Access, WebLink, etc.) is still connected to the Laserfiche Server. If this occurs on Windows XP or Windows Server 2003, then you should use the Windows task manager and remove the Server process. This is a larger issue on Windows 2000, as you will have to open up Visual Studio .NET, attach the process, then stop the process. (11501)
  • The Laserfiche Server may become unstable if documents are imported while Microsoft SQL Server is running a scheduled job. (8572)
