Security Tags Can Prevent Users From Exporting Briefcases or Volumes.

Summary

If a security tag has been assigned to the root folder, users that have not been granted that security tag or the Manage Metatadata privilege will be prevented from successfully exporting briefcases and volumes.

If you are exporting a briefcase under these conditions, then you may receive the following error message:

    The briefcase failed to export properly. (7540)

If you are exporting a volume under these conditions, then you may receive the following error message:

    Entry tag does not exist. [7540]

Workaround

Remove the security tag assigned to the root folder.

Note: Security tags function differently when assigned on the root folder. As such, assigning security tags on the root folder is not a standard recommended procedure when securing your repository. For more information, please refer to the following article:
