Users with the Manage Volumes Privilege Can See the Physical Volumes of a Logical Volume when Importing.

Users with the Manage Volumes privilege may be able to see the physical volumes that make up a logical volume when using the following Laserfiche products:

Import Agent 6
Laserfiche Client 6
Quick Fields 7.1 and earlier
Snapshot 7.0 and earlier
Laserfiche Scanning 7.0

The listed Laserfiche products utilize a legacy interface when communicating with Laserfiche Server 7. Due to a limitation of this interface, instead of only displaying the logical volume name, the physical volumes that make up the logical volume will also be displayed to users with the Manage Volumes privilege.

A user may choose to import into a physical volume. However, regardless of the selected choice, the Laserfiche Server will correctly enforce volume rollover and documents will still be created in the appropriate logical volume.
