Summary

Opening a LaserFiche database requires full control rights for the registry key that stores the database name.

Resolution

Install LaserFiche Client, Desktop, Executive, Intuition, MinuteFile, Notebook, Personal Edition, Plus, or Viewer version 6.03 or higher.

Network Installations: Install LaserFiche Server version 6.03 or higher.

The registry key to which a user would need full control rights can be found under: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LaserFiche\Database.

After upgrading LaserFiche, opening a LaserFiche database will only require read rights to the database name registry key.
