The following list provides a brief introduction to the new features that have been integrated into Laserfiche WebLink 7.0.

Laserfiche WebLink New Features

  • There is now a folder tree in the Browse view. This tree allows you to browse through folders in a Laserfiche repository.
  • PDFs generated by WebLink for Laserfiche documents that have been OCRed and indexed are now searchable.
  • Images can now be displayed in grayscale. This will generate a higher quality image than black & white. Users can choose whether images are displayed in grayscale or black and white.
  • You can now customize which columns will display in the Browse and Search view.
  • The columns in the Browse and Search view can be sorted.
  • Enhanced customizability due to the use of Visual Basic .NET.
  • Support for the following Laserfiche 7 features was introduced:
    • Users can view relationships associated with a document.
    • Users can view versions associated with a document.
    • Users can view tags associated with a document.
    • Users can choose from more search options.
    • Users can perform records management specific searches.
