Summary

Do not manually uninstall Laserfiche products by directly removing registry information. It is an unsupported operation. Doing so can also cause Windows to become stuck in a corrupted and incomplete state, which can prevent any further attempts to uninstall or reinstall Laserfiche. To uninstall Laserfiche products, use the Add/Remove Programs option found in the Control Panel.

More Information

Windows Installer maintains its own internal records of installation information which does not directly correspond to registry information. Manually removing installation registry information will leave Windows in a corrupted state with no way to repair this state short of reinstalling your operating system. While in this corrupted state, you will be unable to uninstall or reinstall those respective programs. Installations that use Windows Installer will contain .MSI files on the installation CD.
