Summary

Renaming a field can result in the loss of field data.

Cause

The Laserfiche Administration Console currently handles a field rename operation by deleting the field and recreating a new field in its place. This means that any data originally assigned to that field is lost.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in Laserfiche 7.0.3 and later. Please upgrade to the latest version of Laserfiche.
