The Same Page is Continuously Scanned When Using Laserfiche Scanning with the Flatbed of a Kofax Scanner.

Summary

When you use the flatbed to scan a document, clicking the Scan option results in the scanner continuously scanning the same page until the Stop option is clicked.

Resolution 1

This issue is resolved in Laserfiche Scanning 7.1. Please upgrade to the latest version of the Laserfiche Client.

Resolution 2

There is a hotfix available for Laserfiche Scanning 7.0.2. The fix is an updated version of LFKofaxCom.dll. Laserfiche Scanning will now correctly works when scanning with the flatbed.

To update Laserfiche Scanning

  1. Click here to download a zip file containing an updated version of LFKofaxCom.dll.
  2. Replace the LFKofaxCom.dll found in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Laserfiche\Batch Processor\LFKofaxCom with the LFKofaxCom.dll included in the zip file.
