Summary

When exporting a document as a PDF, you may choose to secure redacted portions of your images. However, if you have the See Through Redactions entry access right for that document, the resulting PDF will contain text that has not been redacted. This text can be accessed either by performing a search or by selecting it from the redaction portion of the image.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in Laserfiche Client 7.1 and later. Please upgrade to the latest version of Laserfiche Client.

Workaround

If you are using Laserfiche 7.0.x, you should log on as a Laserfiche user that does not have the See Through Redactions entry access right and then export the redacted document as a PDF.
