Summary

Reinstalling Laserfiche Quick Fields can cause Laserfiche Quick Fields Agent to reset log file configuration information.

Workaround

After reinstalling Quick Fields, reconfigure where you want Quick Fields Agent to store log files and how long those log files will be retained.

To set Quick Fields Agent log file options

  1. Open the Laserfiche Quick Fields Agent dialog box.
  2. Click Options.
  3. In the Options dialog box, under Log file location, set where you want log files to be stored.
  4. Under Log file retention, choose how long you want to retain log files.
  5. Click OK to close the Options dialog box.
  6. Click OK to close the Laserfiche Quick Fields Agent dialog box.

Note: Because log file configuration information is reset, history information appears to be lost. However, if you restore the log file directory to the original setting, history information will also return.
