Summary

The Laserfiche Server may not be stable when a patch set earlier than 9.2.0.6.0 of Oracle 9i is installed on computer hosting the Laserfiche Server. The Laserfiche Client may display the following error message:

Error executing SQL command [7050]

The repository's error.log file may contain several entries involving Laserfiche error code 7050 and Oracle specific error codes similar to the following:

[7050] List entries by stored procedure failed : Unexpected error when fetching last row of results : ORA-24330: internal OCI error

[7050] Continue entry list failed (13): Unable to set bookmark : ORA-01403: no data found

[7050] Read entries failed (883): Unexpected error when fetching next row of results : ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kposcws0], [], [], [], [], [], [], []

[7050] Read entries failed (883): Unexpected error when fetching next row of results : ORA-01002: fetch out of sequence

Cause

Complex queries used in Laserfiche can expose issues in earlier Oracle 9i releases.

Resolution

The Laserfiche Server is compatible with Oracle 9i Release 2 (9.2.0.6.0) or later. If you are using an earlier version of Oracle 9i Release 2, please upgrade to patch set 9.2.0.6.0 or later.
