Summary

By default, Snapshot prevents the Fields dialog box from displaying in Laserfiche when importing. This behavior is intentional, since field information can be configured when a document is printed by Snapshot. However, you can allow Laserfiche to determine whether the Fields dialog box will be displayed when importing documents processed by Snapshot by editing the LF.ini file.

Resolution

To allow Laserfiche control over whether the Fields dialog box is displayed

1. From a text editor, open the LF.ini files. See the More Information section for more information on the location of the LF.ini files.
2. Under the [Snapshot] section, add the following line:

   SuppressTemplateDialog=0

3. Save the changes and close the text editor.

More Information

By default, Snapshot automatically adds TEMPLATEDIALOG(0) to all LST files. This is what prevents the Fields dialog box from displaying in Laserfiche when importing.
