Summary
After installing the Send to Laserfiche feature, the option does not appear in your Microsoft Office programs or Windows Explorer.
Cause
The Send to Laserfiche feature registers itself with Microsoft Office using a registry key. If you have installed the Send to Laserfiche feature and it does not appear, check the registry to see that the appropriate keys have been created. See Resolution 1.
The Send to Laserfiche Windows Explorer shortcut is only created for the Windows user that actually ran the installation. To make this feature available for other users, manually create the shortcut in each user's SentTo folder. See Resolution 2.
Resolution 1
If the Send To Laserfiche feature does not appear from within Microsoft Office, then you should make sure that the following registry keys exist:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\AppName\Addins\LFOffice.SaveToLF
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\AppName\Addins\LFOffice11.SaveToLF
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\AppName\Addins\LFOffice72.SaveToLF
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\AppName\Addins\LFOffice80.SaveToLF
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\AppName\Addins\LFOffice81.SaveToLF
Note: The term AppName represents one of the following: Excel, Word, or PowerPoint.
For Outlook, the key is:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\LFOffice.SaveInOutlook
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\LFOffice11.SaveInOutlook
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\LFOffice72.SaveInOutlook
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\LFOffice80.SaveInOutlook
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\LFOffice81.SaveInOutlook
If these registry keys corresponding to your version of Laserfiche do not exist, you should repair the Client installation.
