Summary

When exporting images or text, you may receive the following error message:

No data was available for export.

Cause

This error can occur if you attempt to export images or text from a document that does not have any associated text or images.

Example: This issue will occur when exporting the text of a document that has not been OCR'ed or exporting images from a document that does not have any images.

Resolution

Prior to exporting images or text, make sure that the desired document contains images and/or text.
